A blog is a website that allows other people to re view your page, share opinions, and talk about various subjects in the form of an online chat. Also readers may comment on your links and photos. An example of a blog website is www.wordpress.com
Micro blogging is when people just update a status. People micro blog when they use social networking sites like twitter and bebo.
A microblog entry could consist of nothing but a short sentence, or an image. Also you can’t chat online unlike a social blog, where you can. Also there is more space, so you can upload loads of photos and links. Also share information about yourself, such as your interests in life.
There are possible threats when using a social networking site for young people. These are;
1. You can start talking to someone that you don’t know, they can seem nice, and then there not really who you expect them to be.
2. People can re view your profile, and take your pictures and save them to their documents.
3. If you have your school name on their, the person searching your profile, could come and stalk you, and them make you do things you don’t want to.
4. You can upload pictures that you wouldn’t like your parents to see, but you wouldn’t really think about the harm it can cause.
Young people should take precautions, if they don’t young people might start talking to strangers, and they think their nice and sweet, but really their not that person, their just pretending, so the girl/boy agrees to meet them or shares pictures with them or even go on webcam and do things they would be ashamed of if their parents and friend new. And the girl/boy would be more venerable and stupid, where there young. Also if they ever meet up and the person and they was an older male or female, the young person would be afraid and go along with what they get told. Finally the person would be too frightened to tell anyone because they probably got threatened.
You should always follow the four rules when using a socail networking site, Thses are;
1. Should put their photos and information as private, so know one they don’t know can see and share their information.
2. Don’t accept anyone you don’t know.
3. Delete any emails you get from strangers.
4.Dont addpeople you don’t know.
If you get in to any trouble when using a site like facebook, there is always help, even if you feel ashamed and cant tell your parents. You can;

I think social websites are good and bad. I think anyone under the age of 10 shouldn’t have a social network site, such as facebook because they wouldn’t probably know how to set their profile to private, and would be more stupid and accept a friend request to people they don’t know. Also I think that they are safe if you do the right things like set your profile to private, don’t accept or talk to anyone that you don’t know.
